In Taiwan, Corio Generation is jointly developing the Formosa 3 project with TotalEnergies. It is a planned multi-phase offshore wind project.
Formosa 3 is set to be developed off the coast of Changhua County on Taiwan’s central-western coast.
In 2023, Formosa 3 submitted the administrative contract for its first phase, Haiding 2, following the allocation of a 600 MW grid capacity at the end of 2022.
